ARCs Are Coming Early 🖤
A quick update, an upcoming signing, and a few important links
I wanted to start with a quick but exciting update: ARCs for The Evidence of Us are officially going out this Friday, the 30th. I had them scheduled a little later, but I ran a poll on Instagram, and the response was that most of you wanted them sooner. Thank you for being excited about this book. I am also so super excited for everyone to finally get to read it, and I hope you love reading it as much as I loved writing it! If you signed up, keep an eye on your inbox (and your spam folder, just in case).
Just a quick reminder: I do not track reviews for ARCs, so there’s nowhere to submit them, and you don’t need to send them to me. If you enjoy the book, I would love to be tagged in your posts on social media! I no longer have TikTok, but you can tag @authorgennablack on IG and FB or @stfugenna on Threads.
Whether you’ve signed up for an ARC, preordered, plan to, or are just quietly rooting from the sidelines, I’m so grateful. This book exists because you’ve continued to show up for it along the way, setbacks and delays included.
I’ll be doing a book signing with Allie Oleander at A Novel Romance in Louisville, KY, to celebrate the release on February 21st, and I would absolutely love to see you there if you’re local or able to make it!
I also want to take a moment to share two fundraisers supporting people harmed by ICE’s occupation and raids in Minneapolis. If you’re able to donate or share, you can click these images to find more information on Instagram:
I’ll end with this: please keep pressing your representatives. Keep calling and emailing. It matters, even when it feels repetitive or small. If you don’t know where to start, you can find more information here.
xx,
Genna
